Not another Christmas in July Cyber Crop?

Yes, that’s right Julie’s Scrapping Jewels is having its Christmas in July CC this weekend. Kicking off Friday night, 25th July at 7pm EST. Work to be completed by Monday 28^th at midnight.

Dig out those boxes of un-scrapped Chrissy photos and get ready to use them.

Want to start on your Chrissy cards so that they are ready to send in December? JSJ is the place to be.

There will also be a Stash Challenge that you can join in. This will be held on one night (to be advised) during the CC. This is a great way to produce a page in about an hour with step-by-step directions. Stash Challenges are always a lot of fun!

Happy Birthday Brocky!

Wow my baby boy has just turned 7, where did the time go?

He had a great day, he got a brand new big boys bike from us and my parents sent a gift card, so he bourght a Batman hotweels track and some matchbox cars, and a new bike helmet. He is having a party, next weekend with all his school friends. Here are the invites I made. Big thanks to Cindy as this is her design. I hand cut 30 of the little buggers out! I think they are so cute.

Not much else is happening here, I have done some DT work for JSJ and am just starting to organize a crop which is on in the next couple of weeks. I didn’t get into the Chatterbox DT, which I am a bit upset about, but when there is 438 girls to chose from, I didn’t think I would get picked. I am also making some cards for a DT call for a card blog.
Kids got back to school on Tuesday, and I cant wait. I just need a bit of my time, which I haven’t had in a while.

I was asked to make a card for someone that is leaving, so I decided to use this weeks sketch over at 2sketches4you

I love this sketch! And this is the card I made from the sketch.

Products used, Bazzill, Stampin up!, Real read cardstock, Heidi Swapp papers, Doodlebug flower and alphas, and I did lots of doodling.

I am still around……

But I have been sick, real sick. I eneded up with a Kidney infection, that was that bad. I also was ilergic to the medication they gave me and that made me sicker. To cut a long story short, I seen 5 doctors and waited in the hospital over 8 hours on just one day alone. I am starting to feel better, but still not 100%. I did make a card today, that I will share tomorrow.

Happy Birthday card!

Had a bit of bad luck today, I was changing Ella’s nappy and hurt my back. Not sure how I did it, but I must have twisted it wrong. And gee its sore.

On a brighter note, I made a quick card last night. I used my slit punch to do my scallop flower, I love how it turned out.

I have been scrappin!

Can you believe it I have been scrappin! Not just cards but I even did a layout.

I haven’t scrapped a layout in so long.

Here is the layout it was for the crop over at scrappingjewels

This one was for challenge 5. I really like how this turned out. Products used- Bazzill, Kaisercraft papers, Sharpie pen, black gel pen, Nesties, doodlebug letters, thickers, circle punch, button, flowers.

This card was also for the crop, it was for the toasted mashmallow challenge. I used Bazzill, cuttlebug, stampin up stamps, ribbon, button, Kindy glitz, black gel pen.

Another card for the crop, I used my Nesties again, Stampin Up stamps, Stampin Up papers, ribbon, brads, gel pens, Kindy Glitz.

And here is another card I made today, this one is for a new sketch blog called2sketches4you

Here is my 3 cards!

Here are the 3 cards I made over the weekend. The challenge at 123scrapbook was to make 3 cards using the same piece of patterned paper, and the 3 cards had to have different greetings on them. I love how mine turned out.

Not much other news, but I have been a good girl and I am now volunteer at St Vinnie’s op shop and I am working two days a week there. I am having so much fun talking to the ladies and having some adult conversations. Better than talking to the kids all day long.

Thought I better show some of my cards!

Not much happening over here in Goondiwindi, kids have all had that horrible stomach bug but they are doing much better now.

Ella was home for a week and she was running a muck, like 2 year olds do.
